Winexpert Private Reserve Merlot is bold, yet elegant. This Stag’s Leap Merlot is big and full with up-front waves of raspberry, blackberry and plum. IT has subtle notes of cedar and mocha. Over time, the flavours of the wine harmonize. The select oak contributes a tempering vanilla note and establishes a sumptuous combination of textures. It is well defined and structured. Dark, rich and intense, this is a wine that rewards aging.
This wine is fermented on grapeskins for extra depth of character. Labels included.
