Traminer Riesling, Australia

Traminer Riesling is the perfect white blend. Peach and melon undertones from Riesling marry beautifully with the spice, mango, grapefruit and lychee notes from Gewürztraminer. Incredibly elegant with a hint of sweetness from our Riesling-based Flavour Reserve. Enjoy young and fresh or cellar for a more harmonious profile.

Extremely food friendly. Try it Traminer Riesling with spicy or salty dishes. Or something simple like potato chips or salted nuts- addictive simplicity.

Varietal Traminer Riesling

The history of the Traminer grape is long and complicated as it is highly prone to mutation and has appeared all over Europe. What is known is that Traminer is a highly aromatic and fragrant grape (like it's Alsace version- Gewürztraminer is know for) and is the perfect blend for Riesling also known for it's good fruit and aromatics. Traminer Riesling is a perfect white blend.

Region Australia

Australia is a 'New World' growing region that made Syrah more famously known as Shiraz. Australia started the trend of producing single varietal wines featuring grapes traditionally blended by ‘Old World’ winemakers. Typically full bodied wines with good fruit.

Sweetness Off-Dry

Off-Dry wines like Gewurztraminer have minimal sweetness which is not perceived by the average wine drinker- while providing an easy drinking characteristic that people enjoy.

Body Light-Medium

Typically lighter in colour and have lighter tannins. May have residual sugar.

Oak None

No oak is present as is the case for most whites, rosés and light, fruity reds.
