We selected the store Dakota (Winnipeg, MB) for you. Take a look at it's location and on-site services to make sure you're set.

We'll do the brew too

Our in-store brewery takes any guess work and investment out of beer making.

Cracking open a cold one while we do the work is still a fraction of the cost of purchasing craft beer or cider. Even though we’re making it, our in-store beer and cider is still backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Any equipment required is supplied by us. All that you need to do is sprinkle some yeast and come back to can your beer. Yep, that’s right. We have a canning machine on site so that you’ll be able to enjoy an authentic experience.

Select the McPhillips store, select your beer or cider from our list and pick the brewer package option. We’ll do the rest.

Only at our McPhillips store... for now.

In store beer/cider making is currently only available at our McPhillips location. You will need to have the McPhillips store selected to be able to select in-store brewing after you select your beverage of choice.

I think it's time to crack open a cold one.

Step 1: A little sprinkle to start it off

In-store beer/cider making starts off with having our experienced brewers prepare your selected beer/cider for primary fermentation. The only thing you need to do is sprinkle in the yeast, which is required by government regulations. We’ll take care of everything after that.

When you buy your Beer in-store, at our McPhillips St Wine Sense location your beer will be prepared immediately so you can sprinkle (“pitch”) your yeast right away. Congratulations! Your beer is brewing!

When you buy your beer through this site, pop-in to the McPhillips St Wine Sense location and we’ll immediately prepare your beer so you can sprinkle (“pitch”) your yeast right away. Congratulations! Your beer is brewing!

Next up, we’ll schedule a time for you to come back and can it. We’ll be busy over the next few weeks tending to your beer/cider as if it was our own; making sure it’s the right temperature, monitoring its fermentation, kegging and carbonating it and helping it grow up into a crisp and refreshing cold one.

Step 2: Do the can-can

In store brewing—unlike our in store winery process—does not require you to collect containers to prepare your beer/cider for transport home.

We felt that beer/cider, just like wine, should be able to be packaged in it’s commercially standardized container for the greatest authenticity.

Our McPhillips location has a canning machine on site so that you can lock the freshness of your beer/cider under an aluminum shield until it’s ready for your taste buds.
